Lucky (4) Birmingham – ADOPTED

We are pleased to say that Lucky has moved in with his furever family. He will be assessed and vet checked before his adoption is finalised.

Hello everyone- my name is Lucky and i am in the Birmingham area –

I am 4 years old and am looking for a new family – I am a loving dog and I enjoy my walks and playing with a ball.

I don’t get along with large dogs and I can be unsure of small dogs. I enjoy treats and will sit when you ask me to.

l I enjoy company, but I also have times when I like to be left alone in my bed.

I have no experience of cats, and have never been crate trained.

Diesel (9 approx) Blackpool – ADOPTED

We are pleased to say that Diesel has moved in with his furever family. He will be assessed and vet-checked before his adoption is finalised.

Hi everyone – My name is Diesel (or D for short). I am in the Blackpool area and am about 9 or 10 years of age. I am looking for a new family to take care of me.

My owner has health issues and is unfortunately unable to take care of meI respond well to praise and pampering, and am very young at heart. I am often thought to be much younger than I am.

I am looking for someone who is quite active to take me for long walks, but who can also offer me a quiet household as I am quite nervous of loud noises and wary of children. I think this is because of my experiences prior to coming to live with my current owner. I have been with him for about 6 years, and I was thought to be about 3 when I arrived.

Perrin – 20 months – Scotland Adoption Finalised 3.2.2020

We are pleased to say that Perrin has moved in with his adoptive family. We wish him all the luck in the world in his furever home.

Hello Everyone – My name is Perrin and I am looking for a new home.

I am in the East Kilbride area of Scotland, and am looking for a home with no children or other dogs.

I am 20 months and am currently living in a very loud and busy household. I have no experience of cats.

I can be food protective, and really need an understanding quiet home where I can be less stressed.

Reggie – 1 Year – Essex – Moved in with new family 26.1.2020


A PERMANENT HOME FOR REGGIE HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED AND HE WILL BE MOVING THERE WITHIN THE NEXT WEEK OR SO. 6.1.2020
My name is Reggie and I am in the Essex area. I had my first birthday in November and am looking for a new home through no fault of my own. My owner is suffering from ill health and is unable to look after me. I am going into foster care initially, but will be looking for a furever home as soon as possible.
I am described as lively with a friendly nature who loves visitors. I have been taught to take treats slowly and gently, and love to have a cuddle on the sofa. I have been used to having a crate and am happy to have my bed there.
I have had an issue with itchy paws and irritated skin on my paws, but this has been treated and I am fine at the moment. This is something that may come back, but it is completely cleared up at present.
I still have the occasional house training accident, and have no experience of cats. I am friendly with all dogs, but can make a bit of a fuss when we meet and I am on a lead.

CLIFF – 8 Years – North Tyneside – Adopted 9.2.2020

We are pleased to say that we believe we have found a furever home for Cliff. He has been an absolute delight to have as a lodger and we know he will be a huge success in his new home.

My name is Cliff and I am 8 years of age. I am looking for a new furever home, and am currently in North Tyneside.
I have come to Westie Rescue UK as I have suffered a bereavement – I have been with the same family since I was a puppy and am feeling very down at the moment.
I am not used to being on my own and get very upset if I am left so I need someone at home with me all of the time. I love walks and will come and sit beside you on the sofa. I am quite nervous and it takes me a little while to trust you.
I love to sleep on the end of your bed. I am not neutered but this will be arranged for me.
